Society for Incentive Travel Excellence presents Crystal Award to Michelin
GREENVILLE, S.C. Jan. 31, 2019 — Michelin and Ovation Global DMC of Switzerland have been recognized by the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) with a Crystal Award for “Excellence in Incentive Travel: Europe.” As a sustainable mobility company, Michelin’s portfolio of branded experiences highlights the Company’s commitment to give people everywhere a better way forward. In addition to its reputation as a leading global tire manufacturer, Michelin publishes the renowned MICHELIN® Guide, a series of guidebooks that have recognized culinary excellence for more than a century.
SITE Crystal Awards are considered the highest honor in the incentive travel industry, recognizing creative, practical and truly memorable incentive programs. Michelin was honored for its 2017 Switzerland Premium Driving Experience. Michelin partnered with Ovation Global DMC to create an incentive program that gave its top clients and distributors an opportunity to experience Michelin tires, starred cuisine and a grand tour of major sites and attractions over six weeks in Switzerland.

Since 1980, the annual SITE Crystal Awards Program has recognized world-class organizations that design unique, memorable group travel experiences that deliver measurable benefits for their clients. Award recipients were evaluated by an independent panel of judges. SITE hosted the Crystal Awards Recognition Ceremony during its recent global conference in Bangkok.
